About

From the first question to the working product.

I’m Scott Heappey, a Sydney-based digital product and AI innovation leader. I work across strategy, design and technology, carrying the same product intent from the customer problem through the interface and into implementation. My experience spans telecommunications, complex SaaS products and regulated banking. I’m drawn to work where the interface is only one part of the problem—where the system, the authoring experience and the way a team builds all need to make sense together. Today, my practice includes design systems and multi-brand platform work at Teachers Mutual Bank, alongside hands-on exploration of AI product creation through Tilefile. Earlier roles at Spectrum, Total Synergy and Folk brought together product design, interaction detail, working prototypes and reusable foundations.

A practice that keeps evolving

Masters in Art and Design Auckland University of Technology · First Class Honours AI Fluency and Generative AI Masterclass Sydney Executive Plus, University of Sydney · 2025 I bring a designer’s attention to experience and a maker’s interest in how things work. The aim is a product that holds together—from the first interaction to the systems behind it.
